Australia beat India in Ahmedabad to win the men's Cricket World Cup. Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne with a stand of 192 as they chased down 241 with 7 overs remaining. Head made a superb 132 from 120 balls with Labuschagne ending 58 not out India, the heavy favourites, crestfallen whilst Australia have completed a remarkable six months including winning the World Test Championship, retaining The Ashes and now winning the World Cup for a sixth time.
