In this episode of Your Potential for Everything, host Alex brings on Casey Drillette, the co-founder of Study Room Learning where she teaches primarily Mandarin-speaking students. Casey talks to Alex about Living Abroad, Working from Anywhere, and Working from Home boundaries. After graduation Casey knew she wanted to make some changes and in the summer of 2011 and decided to start living abroad. Casey moved to Zhengzhou, China to teach for a year and continue to develop her Chinese language skills. One year quickly turned into 7 years and she started to hone her working from anywhere and living abroad life. Casey worked for numerous education companies, hosted a Chinese tv show, completed her MBA at Fudan University in Shanghai, and began competing in Muay Thai. In 2017, Casey decided it was time for another change and she began working remotely as a Project Manager and made the move to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Casey also launched her own online education company abroad and is learning the ins and outs of the entrepreneur life. She also recently welcomed her first child.
