Series 12, Episode 5: Professional Basketball with Morgan Tuck

In this episode of Your Potential for Everything, host Alex brings on Morgan Tuck, a former WNBA player, NCAA Women’s basketball standout, & current Director of Franchise Development for the Connecticut Sun. Morgan talks with Alex about playing in the WNBA, her transition to sports business as the Director of Franchise Development for the Connecticut Sun, and her University of Connecticut NCAA Women’s Basketball championships. Morgan decided to pursue her career as a basketball player even though she didn’t have as much natural talent as others. She knew that if she worked hard, she would get a scholarship to play NCAA Women’s Basketball. Not only did she play at the University of Connecticut, but she won four consecutive NCAA championships. Then Morgan went to the WNBA and was drafted third overall in 2016. In 2020, she won a WNBA Championship with the Seattle Storm. Morgan decided it was time to go into sports business in 2021 and she was quickly offered the role of Director of Franchise Development for the Connecticut Sun. She accepted the role in May of 2021.
