More on Ruixin: This is Ruixin Liu’s second year on the Symetra Tour and Sunday’s win at the 8th annual Island Resort Championship was her first career professional victory. Liu earned $26,250 and jumped 26 spots in the Volvik Race for the Card to No. 5. At the end of the season, the top-10 players in the Volvik Race for the Card will earn LPGA Tour membership for 2019. Next up for Liu is the first-ever Prasco Charity Championship at TPC River’s Bend in Maineville, Ohio.
