83. Marcel Dagenais // Hair Department Head

Today on What's My Frame? I'm joined by Poker Face hair department head, Marcel Dagenais. I had the absolute joy of meeting Marcel last year on the set of Rain Johnson's new series Poker Face. In the week leading up to joining the show I was blown away by Marcel and his team's attention to detail and pre planing. It dawned on me so many actors don't know what to expect after the offer email. We spend so much time focusing on getting the job we don't discuss the flood of emails / txts and planing that happens between booking and landing on set. Today Marcel and I discuss just that, how to share helping info with the hair & MUA department heads before arriving in their trailer along with so many more helpful tips.  Of course we also dive into Marcel's work in commercials and editorial along with a few favorites stories from set including a wild one from Russian Doll.  Additional credits and collaborators include, New York Magazine, PAPER Magazine, TIME, WWD, Refinery 29, V Magazine, NYLON, NYLON Mexico, Schön!
