Upper Hutt's mayor is proud to see a boy from the Hutt in the political hotseat. Wayne Guppy says he's worked with Remutaka MP and incoming Prime Minister Chris Hipkins on a number of issues. Guppy says Hipkins is more focused on policy than politics. He says he quickly grasps the issues on the table and works to fix them -- and is a good communicator and easy to work with.
