A plan to put the brakes on Wellington speed limits is going to public consultation. Wellington City Council have voted for people to have their say on the changes which would slow speeds to a max of 30 kilometres an hour, for local streets. However National Party Transport Spokesperson Simeon Brown says National will stop and change the proposed reductions if it were was to get into power.
