Wellington Mornings with Nick Mills - Ein Podcast von Newstalk ZB

Yesterday 66-year-old Brian Lewis was sentenced at the Greymouth District Court to three years and two months in prison, after admitting drink driving causing death and two counts of drink driving causing injury. On April 30 Lewis crossed the centre-line near Stillwater, about 20 kilometres east of Greymouth, and into the path of an oncoming vehicle. Kathy Sexton was killed and her two teenage passengers were seriously injured. Lewis has 43 previous driving convictions, but has only lost his licence for four years. Nick Mills asked Wellington Mornings' callers whether Lewis should be banned from driving ever again. Steven shared his story. LISTEN ABOVE See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
