Concerns a lack of safety measures on the Wellington waterfront is putting people at risk. Christchurch Primary School teacher Issac Levings accidentally drowned after falling into the harbour after attending a concert at TSB Arena on Wednesday last week. The body of the 25 year old was later found by Police in the harbour on Friday. Wellington Skipper, Kieran Boyle told Nick Mills on Wellington Mornings there should be balustrades stopping people from going into the water. He says at night the waterfront can be dangerous. 30 year old Sandy Calkin died in the area in 2021. His father Roger Calkin told Nick Mills - that more needs to be done.
