Foster Care Awareness Month with Charlotte Angels

The statistics on the number of children in foster care are staggering. The number of foster kids that drop out of high school is even more shocking. May is National Foster Care Awareness Month, and I am excited to welcome Camille and Nicole from Charlotte Angels to the podcast.   Foster care is a vital part of our society and can help drastically change the lives of children and families in need. There are many ways to support foster care beyond just providing foster care homes. They include providing financial assistance, offering mentorship, or simply being a friend to the children.   In this episode, Camille, the executive director of Charlotte Angels, introduces the organization and talks about her passion for helping foster care youth.
