19. Alec Marsh & Eoin McNamee on writing the past for the present

Alec Marsh, author of Rule Britannia & the arriving someday Enemy of the Raj - and - Eoin McNamee, author of The Blue Tango & many others, talk to presenters Paul Waters & Stevyn Colgan about writing fiction set in the past which works for the present. Alec Marsh also edits Spears magazine for hugely rich people. Eoin McNamee is also the author of Resurrection Man, The Ultras, 12:33, Orchid Blue, Blue is the Night, The Navigator trilogy for children, the script for films I Want You & Resurrection Man. Phew! He’s busy. He lives in Sligo in the west of Ireland. And did we mention that his book The Blue Tango is one of presenter Paul’s favourites?
