Alone & Organic Archery with Correy Hawk

Correy Hawk first came to our attention in season 7 of the History Channel show Alone. He is the founder of the traditional bow and arrow making firm Organic Archery, and an expert in survival, bushcraft, self reliance and archery. Correy grew up in a small village in Southeast Nebraska. He was raised to hunt, fish, forage for wild foods, and navigate the wilderness. He spent a lot of time outdoors as a family where he was taught to respect and appreciate the land and all the critters that call it home. His father is an accomplished bowhunter and had a bow and arrows in his hands as soon as he could understand their utility.  Correy’s early adult years led him away from archery to pursue other interests, eventually joining the United States Marine Corps. Serving two combat tours in Afghanistan before returning home to Nebraska and becoming almost immediately infatuated with archery.   He built bows obsessively as a hobby for 6 years before making Organic Archery his full-time endeavor in 2018.
