Voices from Grand Challenges – Migration and Health with Dr Miriam Orcutt

Nina from UCL Grand Challenges chats with Dr Miriam Orcutt, a researcher in forced migration and health systems, and the Coordinator of the UCL-Lancet Commission on Migration and Health. Dr Orcutt discusses progress since the launch of the Commission’s report in December 2018, and illustrates how involving a variety of stakeholders, including migrants themselves, informs research and policy. UCL’s Grand Challenges convene and cultivate cross-disciplinary collaborations that bring researchers together, explore joined-up solutions in six areas related to matters of pressing societal concern, and set the agenda for future research while building bridges with external partners.
