UCL Remarkable Stories - Shahid and his education journey

Shahid shares his education journey, from studying in Afghanistan during the Taliban regime before coming to the UK at the age of 12, passing his GCSEs and A-Levels, to being accepted to study chemistry at UCL. After his first year at UCL, Shahid has a change of tack and moves on to study chemical engineering and eventually goes on to study his master's at Cambridge University whilst securing employment at BlackRock Investment Management.
