Lunch Hour Lectures - Autumn 2014 Dr Barbara Penner, UCL Bartlett School of Architecture Marking World Toilet Day (19 November), this talk exposes the global sanitation crisis. Every person in the UK flushes 50 litres of drinking water down the toilet daily. In the rest of the world, 2.5 billion people have no sanitation at all.
