On April 11, the jury returned a guilty verdict in the trial concerning the stabbing incident at Apple River. Nicolae Miu faced initial charges of first-degree intentional homicide, along with several counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide. On Tuesday, the prosecution also pursued additional, lesser charges connected to the original accusations, changing them to 'reckless' instead of 'intentional' homicide.
