Miraculously Tom and Tevin were able to make it into the show today despite the snow...Brittany not so much. In the first hour, SKOR North's Judd Zulgad talks about the Timberwolves blowing a 21-point lead and what could be in store for the Vikings with today's NFL trade deadline, and KSTP's Chris Egert on how the snow could impact Halloween celebrations and the Will Smith & Jada Pinkett drama. Hour #2 has Tom reminisce on his days trick or treating as a kid in northeast Minneapolis, the tips you need to know to have a successful Halloween despite the weather, and the crew discusses protesting in America. In hour #3 Kristyn Burtt discusses alcoholism. Not hers - everyone else's. Remember, she works in Hollywood. There's a lot of that kind of thing out there. There's also a lot of that kind of thing up here in Minnesota, although it seems to be something of a self-correcting problem given enough time. On the Family, we end Shocktober with some different flavors of shock. Culture shock, the shock of seeing death at an NHL game, and of course going into diabetic shock from eating too much candy. We don't actually talk about that last one, but you should definitely consider it as a possibility.
