The final show before Christmas, we hope everyone has a great holiday! In the first hour, SKOR North's Phil Mackey talks about the Wolves' win over the LeBron-less Lakers last night to tie the NBA's best record in the league and shares with Tom about the two very different paths remaining for the Vikings this season, KSTP's Chris Egert shares a warning about flu and COVID cases being on the rise this time of the year but the good news is that gas prices are down across the Midwest. Plus more top headlines from the day! Hour #2 has Bob Sansevere who talks about about the Twins making no moves, the Wolves atop the NBA, the Wild turning things around with back to back OT wins, and the Vikings path to the playoffs. In hour #3, it's the last segment of the morning show before Christmas, so we talk about movies. You know the kind of movies we're talking about. Murderfests, of course. Jack Ryan, Reacher, and various other "muscular man shoots people" fare. Tim Lammers is personally a fan of Reacher. Then Kristyn Burtt brings things home with the other kind of movie you talk about on Christmas: cowboy sex movies. Okay, we also talk about Christmas movies, and the cowboy one itself is in fact a Christmas movie. On the Family, Josh Arnold discusses the merits of movies that are too long. Maybe that's not the best way to phrase it, but you know what I mean. We also discuss the merits of learning how to fix your own stuff. Sure, you might cause some Tim Taylor shenanigans at first, but the net result is generally positive after you've figured out which wire goes in which slot.
