Shawn E. Boynes, FASAE, CAE, has over 20 years association management experience and is Executive Director of the American Association for Anatomy, since 2013. In 2019 he led AAA through a name change -to better position the scientific discipline of anatomy- and comprehensive rebranding which required not just Board support but membership approval. AAA serves as the professional home for an international community of biomedical researchers and educators focused on the discipline of anatomical sciences.
