Wives, pre-register to FRUITFUL MARRIAGE CHALLENGE! A very special FREE 4-Day Live Event happening on September 9-12th: www.fruitfulmarriagechallenge.com - In this episode we wanted to talk to you about how to be one in marriage (or any romantic relationship) as two separate people, striving to achieve unity amidst individuality. Becoming one in marriage is a spiritual thing, something that is not achievable in the natural realm. We get to define when to really lean in and help one another and when to step back. The Bible gives us an example of how to work together in unity in Galatians 6:2 which says, "Carry each other's burdens and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ." However, Galatians 6:5 also says, "Each one should carry his own load." The difference between a burden and a load is that a burden is something too heavy for one person to handle, while a load is something that an individual can and should carry on their own. We must all recognize and appreciate our significant other's differences, as marriage should make our lives better, not worse. With that, we must also understand that we are responsible to each other, but not necessarily responsible for each other. It is only through a combination of the two that marriage can be successful and truly fulfilling. - Access our free Facebook community here: www.facebook.com/groups/1065235670678200 PS: all questions must be answered to be accepted. - If you are growing with us, please support us: 1.
