Maybe they say the American Presidential elections prove that the old country can still teach their cousins across the pond how to conduct elections properly without the loser shouting it is a fraud, editors can sometimes be very reluctant to publish scoops and the rise of social media has meant old green ink letters of abuse have been replaced with the more menacing online threats made worse by being anonymous.
