You likely know that October is breast cancer awareness month, and I’d be shocked if you don’t have someone you love, whether it’s YOU or a sister, mother, family member, friend, or colleague that has faced it. And like so many things in life, unless you’ve experienced it personally, at a deep and intimate level, it’s hard to know what to do, where to turn, and how to get the help – both medical, and otherwise – you need.
