257. The Best Episodes of 2021

Would you rather read the transcript? Click here. Here we are at the end of another year! Looking back at my notes from the “Best Episodes of 2020” show, I’m admittedly surprised how many of those reflections are still accurate. I think many of us assumed that the pandemic would subside and perhaps disappear over the course of 2021, but unfortunately, that was not the case. There’s a little bit of deja-vu going into 2022, as many of us are again hoping “this will be the year.”  Despite the continued hardship, 2021 had many points of light. I saw conferences return, allowing us to connect with one another both online and in person. Many of us refined our business models and were able to get back to in-person work as well. My interactions with consulting clients showed that plenty of us were able to grow our practices and reach new levels of success, while others decided to dial back their schedules and adopt more of a “lifestyle practice.” And finally, the podcast audience has continued to grow. As in past years, I’ve been extremely fortunate to have stellar guests on the show who always bring a wealth of knowledge about assessment and private practice. I’m excited to see what 2022 has in store. Stay tuned and stay healthy!
