TextExpander is a software program that allows you to create text shortcuts that automatically, instantly expand into pre-defined pieces of information, paragraphs, images, or documents. I use TextExpander to write emails, write reports, sign reports, fill out forms, and many other tasks. During the episode today, I’m talking about a few of the ways you can use TextExpander in your testing practice. These include: * Inserting diagnostic codes* Using drop down menus to write results sections quickly* Populating recommendations* Signing reports* Embedding snippets within snippets So let’s take these in order.
