2288: Pivoting from Optometry to Tech: A Journey into Machine Learning

Dominika Szulc from Future Processing joins me on Tech Talks Daily to share the inspirational story that saw her pivot from the optometry industry into a career in tech. She shares her unique career transition to IT and offers advice for anyone wanting to follow in her footsteps. Dominika also shares her view on women in tech and Learning and Development in the industry.   About Dominika Dominika is a highly-motivated and passionate about machine learning and the use of technology. After +5 years spent in the sales and optometry industry, Dominika decided on career transition. Since 2020, Dominika has attended online coding school, Turing College. Previously, she finished a postgraduate degree: Data Science – Big Data algorithms, tools and techniques (Warsaw University of Technology) and before that, she studied chemistry (Military University Of Technology And Erasmus Exchange at Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal) and Optometry at Warsaw University.
