It's Okay Not to Be Okay w/ Esther Marshall

This week I'm talking to award-winning children’s book writer and mental health advocate Esther Marshall in honour of Mental Health Awareness Week. Esther’s an incredible person whose whole life had been dedicated to asking questions around diversity and inclusion. After the terrible loss of her younger sister to suicide after a long battle with mental illness, she’s managed to not just pick herself, but has used her sister’s memory as an inspiration to help others in a variety of ways. Esther is also the author of the Sophie Says... series of children’s books, the latest of which to be released is called Sophie Says It’s Okay Not to Be Okay, which encourages parents & teachers to talk about feelings with children from an early age… You can find the Sophie Says books on Amazon.co.uk and also sophiesaysofficial.com!
