#60 - Comfort, or Solutions?

Sometimes, when people confide in us, we tend to want to jump into problem-solving mode. Of course, it's only human to want to make them feel better; and if we have a solution in mind, why wouldn't we offer it? However, sometimes, the person confiding in you isn't exactly looking for a solution, empathy is all that person really wanted, and offering up a solution my be overstepping your boundaries. So, here's a little tip to help you avoid some potential conflicts when trying to help.
