This week's storyteller is Lara E, also known as Gazan Girl. Lara is a Palestinian American international lawyer and activist, and a resource that I use when learning and educating myself on Palestinian current affairs. She acts as counsel in international disputes and dedicates a large part of her legal practice to human rights work, including accompanying asylum seekers in asylum proceedings before French jurisdictions. ⠀ Lara also has a weekly podcast called The Palestine Pod that she co-hosts with Jewish American comedian Michael Schirtzer. They talk all things Palestine, and of course in this conversation, we also talk all things Palestine.
