Episode 95 // Life After Rugby - Rugby World Cup Winner Will Greenwood
The Movement, Strength & Play Podcast - Ein Podcast von School of Calisthenics - Mittwochs

As two former rugby players ourselves, we looked up to and watched the likes of Will Greenwood playing for England and winning the Rugby World Cup in 2003. So, to have him as a guest on the podcast was a little crazy! What an amazing guy with an amazing attitude towards life, learning and winning... there's a reason why players like Will become the best in the world at their sports and its often to do more with mindset and belief than the physical attributes. In the podcast, you'll hear how a challenge to the North Pole made him re-evaluate his life and training after rugby. How it lead to setting himself the goal of starting calisthenics and learning to handstand to prove he was in control of his body, that he had a solid core and good shoulder mobility and stability... Six shoulder surgeries during his rugby career means that he has an even worse shoulder history than Tim! Luckily about that time he stumbled across a couple of pirates on Instagram called the School of Calisthenics, reached out to us and we've been helping him with his calisthenics and his goal of learning to handstand ever since... all with the purpose of longevity of his body by investing in his physical pension.
