Over the course of 99 episodes, The Maris Review has featured casual yet intimate conversations with authors like Susan Choi, George Saunders, Raven Leilani, and David Sedaris. For the 100th episode celebration, host Maris Kreizman is joined by a few of her very favorites -- Alexander Chee, Morgan Parker, and Emma Straub -- to talk about reading as both a writer and a part of a literary community. We’ll converse online and take questions from the audience. The only way this night could be more fun is if we could all get a drink together afterward. Alexander Chee is the best-selling author of the novels The Queen of the Night and Edinburgh, and the essay collection How to Write an Autobiographical Novel. He is a contributing editor at the New Republic, and an editor at large at Virginia Quarterly Review.
