Let’s get to the conversation... Introducing Season 3 Episode 3 of The Lens: This month our host Oli Barrett MBE is joined by Jan Gooding, Chair of the LGBT advocacy organisation Stonewall, and Joe Gilbert, a Cloud Native Engineer at Fujitsu and a representative for Fujitsu Pride Network.  Oli and our guests discuss community, communication and inclusion in these uncertain times and the impact of the Corona Virus pandemic on their own lives, as well as those of their colleagues and friends. Jan and Joe also share their experiences of first jobs, identity at the intersection between self and career and insights on how to be a better ally. And of course, our host asks both Joe and Jan who they’d most like to meet for coffee and which books they’ll be adding to the famous Lens Reading List. Our Guests Jan Gooding has worked with the likes of Aviva, British Gas and BT, and has been managing partner of two successful marketing consultancies; antennae and BLUEdOOR. She is chair of PAMCo (Publishers Audience Measurement Company), an Executive Committee member of WACL (Women in Advertising and Communication London) and a Fellow of the Marketing Society. In 2015, Jan was ranked 16 in the Top 100 Outstanding in Business list published in the Financial Times. She holds an MA in Economics from Girton College, Cambridge. Joe Gilbert is Graduate Cloud Native Engineer at Fujitsu UK. With a degree in Business and IT from Sheffield Hallam University, Joe is passionate about community and communication. He is a representative for the Fujitsu Pride Network and currently works within the company to offer a strong professional support network to colleagues across Europe.The Lens PodcastThe Lens is a Business in the Community podcast.
