Rather, we're being invited to draw closer to Him, to cleanse our hearts and homes, get the leaven out, and prepare for His ultimate return. Yes, hard times will come upon His body, without us being totally and completely submitted to the word of the Lord, we will find ourselves paralyzed by fear which is fueled with lies from the darkness.
