Episode 17: Spare Keys

In Episode 17 of The Jukebox Graduate, the Senators of Sound welcome Dawes keyboardist Lee Pardini into The Den for an in-depth chat on how a kid from the Bay Area honed his chops, earned his stripes, and eventually landed a gig with the ever-popular Los Angeles band. We'll hear an exclusive, world premiere track from Lee's forthcoming jazz trio album as well as a new song from The Salty Dogs' latest collection. To round things out, the boys recount their favorite music from 2019 as well as other sonic nuggets that they've been grooving to as of late (Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Anderson.Paak, William Prince). This episode of The Jukebox Graduate was brought to you by Satellite Amplifiers with thanks to Ted Russell Kamp for the use of his studio (The Den). Special thanks to John Cowsill and The Salty Dogs. www.thejukeboxgraduate.com

Om Podcasten

Do you study album credits? Do you sit in your driveway waiting to hear the rest of a good song? Get annoyed when someone refers to "Baba O'Riley" as "Teenage Wasteland?" You may want to listen to the monthly Jukebox Graduate podcast that longtime friends Eugene Edwards (Dwight Yoakam) and Dave Rayburn co-host. It will be two friends talking about music with guests and an attempt to share our discoveries and experiences. Sometimes music helps us understand our world, sometimes ourselves. This show is about that and much more. We will also listen to and discuss new releases that excite us! And, don't be surprised when we break into a spontaneous conversation on Bruce Springsteen. It's in our DNA. With that said... please join us!
