Episode 10: Hall Monitors

In Episode 10 of The Jukebox Graduate, Dave and Eugene go over a few things as they head towards the end of the year. The personable pair discuss meeting up in Orange County and the wrap-up of the LSD tour. They look back at the late Geoff Emerick and the great recordings that he helped bring to us. Then it’s a run down of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees and who should get in. Finally the guys go over some new music they’ve been digging. Along the way we will hear songs from Liv, 1913, and Clover featuring Elvis Costello. We will also hear a bit from all of the Hall of Fame nominees. This episode of The Jukebox Graduate was brought to you by Satellite Amplifiers with thanks to Olivia Ledsema, Janet Schiff, Victor DeLorenzo, Mitch Howie and Alex Call.

Om Podcasten

Do you study album credits? Do you sit in your driveway waiting to hear the rest of a good song? Get annoyed when someone refers to "Baba O'Riley" as "Teenage Wasteland?" You may want to listen to the monthly Jukebox Graduate podcast that longtime friends Eugene Edwards (Dwight Yoakam) and Dave Rayburn co-host. It will be two friends talking about music with guests and an attempt to share our discoveries and experiences. Sometimes music helps us understand our world, sometimes ourselves. This show is about that and much more. We will also listen to and discuss new releases that excite us! And, don't be surprised when we break into a spontaneous conversation on Bruce Springsteen. It's in our DNA. With that said... please join us!
