Today Bruce talks to us a bit about the issue of supplier reps showing up on your doorstep unannounced, expecting you to drop everything so they can show you what they offer. This is an issue I'm sure everyone in the joinery industry has experienced at least once, and frankly it's not something that should be expected. Your time as a business owner is far too valuable to expect you to drop everything for someone who hasn't even made the effort to call before showing up, and if this is the kind of thing you allow to happen it could mean there's some greater issues with your factory you're not addressing. With the supply reps it's important to be frank, and today Bruce walks us through some ways you can address these reps, as well as some new perspectives on why we shouldn't let this be an industry standard.
