“I just have to get this job out the door” is something I often hear in the joinery industry. This idea of jobs needing to be done quicker and better through the sense of “competition” rather than a sense of “community”. This type of mindset is what leads to a lot of mental fatigue, the idea that every job is in competition with the last, rather than finding a communal way to work through jobs in ways that are easier for everyone and have your staff feeling more together.  In this episode I go over mental fatigue and how that type of mindset can really start to affect the quality of your work and how your team operates.
