Disrupting to Bring Change with Pastor Gabby Wilkes

This episode of Season 2 begins our 3-part series celebrating Black History Month by interviewing phenomenal Black women who are pioneering progress, innovating for the greater good, and impacting culture. In this interview, you’ll meet Pastor Gabby Wilkes, a brand strategist & faith leader whose work is situated at the intersection of faith, culture, leadership and strategy. She spent over ten years in media and entertainment working with companies such as BET, Mathew Knowles’ Music World Entertainment as well as gospel music record labels eOne Music, RCA Inspiration and New York City based boutique PR firm, Plan A Media LLC. Gabby is a graduate of Yale University Divinity School, New York University and Hampton University, and is a current Doctor of Ministry student at Duke University. She currently serves as the Co-Founding and Co-Lead pastor of The Double Love Experience Church, a new church in Brooklyn, New York. We’ll hear more about Gabby’s evolving and inspiring career, her work with the diversity programming at Yale University, and her experience as a Black woman leading in the faith sector. She shares leadership insights, life lessons, and how we can all advocate for more racial equality with empathy, persistence, and courage.
