She has a background in theater, a knack for comedy, plus a Master in Education degree. Her career has focused on nurturing the “whole” child via a blend of character education, mental health support, and the performing arts. As a certified School Counselor her duties require constantly researching, developing, and collaborating with school staff, parents, and other programs to help students achieve academic success. Charity believes that the status of our future depends on the quantity and quality of mindful education that we invest in today’s youth. She became an author of children’s literature because she knows, “when children are provided an academic environment that is safe/inclusive, encourages personal growth, and supports the sharing of ideas, they have the tools needed to succeed.” She is a master story-teller with the ability to create/produce relatable content and currently owns a production company (ArtistDirector Media) with her husband Justin Jordan. She can currently be seen on The Wonder Years (ABC), Constantine (NBC), or in Amazon’s Emmy Nominated Limited Series The Underground Railroad and Z… The Beginning of Everything. Her film credits include the Oscar-nominated film Selma, Blumhouse’s American Refugee, and Netflix’s They Cloned Tyrone (2022). Prior to shifting her focus to film/TV, Charity graced the stages of Holland, South Africa, and Los Angeles. She starred in the one-woman show NEAT and won the Suzi Award for her performance in Synchronicity’s production of Eclipsed. Mrs. Jordan is a published author, teacher, and co-owner of ArtistDirector Media firm which won "Best Web-Series" at BHFF, plus produced Mommy Uncensored: Confessions of a Real Mom for Aspire TV.
