So to start first off, welcome on. Thank you for being on. I appreciate you. Amber Romaniuk: Thank you for having me. I'm super grateful for you too. Kimberly Olson: Yes. Okay. So spill the tea. Let's talk a little bit about who you are and how you got into this, because this is quite the niche here. I love this. Amber Romaniuk: Thank you. And yeah, so for me, you know, it really has evolved my business over the last 10 years with my own personal journey. So for me, it really started, you know, was kind of a few, I guess you'd call them turning points or things that really impacted me from a young age that kind of brought me to where I am today. So to highlight a couple of key points, because I think it'll just help the audience understand where I've come from. So when I was a young girl, it was my first day on the school bus and the older boys called me fat and ugly. And that just really hit hard and hurt a lot, pertaining to worth and confidence, and body image and not even knowing how to navigate any of that at that time, being five years old. Amber Romaniuk: And so I think that made me really shy and insecure of my body and caused me to start to be critical of my body. And then through growing up I started dieting, you know, 10, 11, 12 reading magazines and seeing all these thin women and all. Not knowing about Photoshopping or editing or any of that stuff and just thinking it's all real, right? As we're convinced to think it's all real and compare ourselves. And so then there's that whole evolution of, you know, music, videos and movies, and seeing celebrities, you know, tied with these insecurities and trying to diet from the magazines like, Oh, let's eat like Britney Spears and get this body. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thegoaldiggergirl/support
