117. The Importance of Teen Activism with Hannah Kohn from Planned Parenthood's STARS & Girls Inc.

TW: Mention of suicide, abortions, guns, pills Welcome back to my ~glamorous~ life!!! In this very special episode I am joined by 17 year old high school senior, Hannah Kohn. Hannah works with Planned Parenthood's STARS program (Students Teaching About Responsible Sexuality) and is an intern at Girls Inc. where she focuses on mental health in teen girls. Hannah gives us a look at her upbringing and family life and how that was a catalyst to her involvement to activism and feminism from such a young age. Together we talk about the taboo narrative that still exists in conversations of sex & education (at my age as well as hers), why it is so important for youth & Gen Z to get involved and educated, and so much more! I'm so proud of you Hannah and I love seeing the change you are making in the world ! <3 Links: Andrew Callaghan youtube: https://www.youtube.com/c/Channel5YouTube Planned Parenthood STARS: https://www.plannedparenthood.org/planned-parenthood-southern-new-england/education/stars Planned Parenthood education for teens: https://www.plannedparenthood.org/learn/teens Girls Inc.: https://girlsinc.org/
