House of Commons: A chat with Personal Assistant Winnie King

047: I met Winnie a couple of years ago online through our common network and we also met in person at a few events in London. I always knew I wanted to have this lady on my podcast because she has a very special employer. Winnie is the Personal Assistant to the Director General of the House of Commons. She has worked in Parliament for 12 years and previously worked for her local Education Authority with the Early Years Special Educational Needs Team. Winnie chairs the Parliamentary Administrative Support Network which was founded in 2017 and is also a committee member of the PA SW1 Network. She has a passion for supporting assistants in their own personal development by connecting with PA trainers and other assistants from all over the world and bringing them to the unique workplace of the Houses of Parliament. Tune in and listen to our wonderful talk about her role, her passion for Lego and how important the assistant network is for her. Thanks for your feedback on Apple itues, Diana xo
