It hopes to bring you a range of interesting and informative rural topics; from market reports to local businesses and industry news to tales from the Dales.In today’s episode, NFU Representative Sam Bradley heads to Threshfield for a farm walk and talk with dairy and sheep farmer, Angus Dean, and Robin Moule canters over to Giggleswick to meet with Les Fell - farmer and owner of Grade 1 winning racehorse, Silver Streak, ahead of his big Cheltenham Championship race. Auctioneers Jeremy Eaton and Ted Ogden discuss a great start to the trade of Ewes with Lambs at foot and Chris Bailey of Craven Farm Vets gives us an insight into those lambing box ‘must haves’ and using antibiotics the right way.We also hear from Megan Schofield at WBW once again. This time, she’s providing some valuable information on how you could benefit from the upcoming Countryside Stewardship Schemes. Unfortunately, our discussion with the Yorkshire Dales National Parks team on Farming in Protected Landscapes has had to be postponed.
