When Lori moved from a little neighborhood in New Jersey to backwoods, rural Kentucky, she experienced loneliness and isolation like never before. Books became her best friends. An avid reader of other people's stories, Lori became comfortable talking to pretty much anyone, from homeless prostitutes to famous actors. She's an advocate of finding "Compatible Crazy," and she now uses stories to help starving artists and struggling business owners grow their audiences and their bottom lines. Her desire is to see out-of-the-box thinkers thrive. She interviews modern-day heroes with inspiring stories at The Rise & Climb Podcast. Lori is also a homeschool mom of three teenage actors! In this episode Lori and I talk about how to be present and connected with our children. The funny thing is that Lori had to take a phone call from her daughter in the middle of our interview which showed how committed she is to putting her kids first and making sure they feel seen and heard!
