I am discussing why I homeschool and what philosophies have influenced my methods. Listed below are a few of the sites, resources, and books that have influenced me. One thing I want to note that I didn't mention is that any of these values can be applied whether or not you homeschool! Intentional education happens in the home, it's true. BUT, you can do these things after school, weekends, at the dinner table, etc. The ideas I talk about are things that apply to family culture no matter what educational style your family follows.  The important thing is the intentionality of it, the parental involvement, and guidance that kids receive to lead them toward a great education!
