Ep. 11 3 Ways Imposter Syndrome is Really Just Your Ego in Disguise

True Intuition Podcast - Ein Podcast von Heather Alice Shea, CEO of Atmana Academy

Anyone can suffer from “Imposter Syndrome” but it appears to be especially rampant among coaches, creatives, intuitives, empaths and healers. These are typically the types of people who chronically wrestle with the feeling of not being “worthy” of what they want to achieve. Have you ever wondered if your personal and professional aspirations are... delusional? If you’ve ever thought to yourself “I'm not good enough” or that you lack the skills or abilities you need to achieve what you want (despite having 10 certifications and three degrees!)... of if you’ve ever thought: “At any minute everybody's going to find out that I'm a fake, that I'm a fraud, that I'm actually not the person that I'm saying I am”... Then darling, you’ve come down with a bad case of Imposter Syndrome. Luckily, it’s easily curable and I’ve got the prescription you need!    In this Episode:  1:13 - What if “Imposter Syndrome” is really your big ego self masquerading? 1:44 - Defining Imposter Syndrome 3:10 - How to tell if you have a bad case of I.S. 4:04 - The lightbulb moment I had that woke me up to my own case of IS! 15:37 - What is a comfort zone?   Soulful Quotes: Imposter Syndrome is your superiority complex masquerading as an inferiority complex.  We're all here to express ourselves and our highest potential. I actually love that feeling because what that feeling is, is an indicator that you are living your life on the very edge of your comfort zone! Any growth oriented person feels like a fake; they feel like they're faking it. Walk into the darkest part of the forest so that you can find yourself, slay your dragons, and bring treasure and gold back to your community.  May you always have the ability to be humble enough to not know what the hell you are doing so that you can, as you move forward on that path, become your own hero.   Links Mentioned:  Website: HeatherAliceShea.com Resources: https://www.heatheraliceshea.com/resources
