S4 Ep 1: Burnout, Boundaries, and Brain Power with Dr. Jackie Darby

Dr. Jackie Darby is the Assistant Director of Outreach/Consultation at American University’s Counseling Center, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and a Certified Group Psychotherapist.  She received her Psy.D. from the American School of Professional Psychology's Clinical Psychology program. She completed her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at American University Counseling Center and completed her APA-accredited internship at Howard University Counseling Services. Dr. Darby provides individual and group psychotherapy for young adults. Her special interests include: substance use issues, body image concerns (specifically the effects of colorism), effects of systemic oppression on individuals, group therapy, and interpersonal trauma.   Dr. Darby is readily asked to present her research and insight on panels, workshops and lectures on topics related to multiculturalism and therapy.
