A proud Caribbean-American, FAMU Alumna, and writer for shows on NBC and Fox, she discusses why your uniqueness is key to moving the culture forward. #theentouragepodcast Ester Lou’s Biography (Abbreviated):  After studying journalism at Florida A&M University, Ester Lou started a career on the corporate side of cable television working at LIFETIME and MTV Networks in New York City. But after feeling she was too far away from the creative side of production, Ester relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in writing. She got her first break in the writers’ room as a writer’s production assistant on SHOWTIME’S HOUSE OF LIES.  During hiatus, Ester worked with Black&Sexy TV to create, write and direct two web series - SEXLESS and CHEF JULIAN - which were both acquired by BETHer. In 2016, she was accepted into the FOX WRITERS INTENSIVE and ultimately became the fellow for that year, leading to a development deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television.  Ester Lou’s previous credits include PITCH and STAR.
