A native of Joliet, Illinois, Zsa-Hnetta Edwards has been a performer ever since she was a little girl. Her love for the stage was solidified as a pre-teen while doing plays and skits in her local church. Edwards’ training coupled with her innate gifting led to her becoming a regular background actress on several of the Chicago franchises including Chicago PD (NBC), Chicago Fire (NBC), and the critically acclaimed series drama, Empire (Fox). Showcasing her diverse talent, Edwards has also appeared in a music video alongside three-time GRAMMY® award winner, Chance the Rapper and in stage plays/short films including He Was There All The Time (P2L Productions) and Tamar (P2L Productions); the latter in which Edwards’ starred as the lead actress and was recently tapped for a 25-episode feature on Amazon Prime.
