Labskraus(Rostock, Germany) Bio: As a proud Nordlicht, Labskraus combines not only the namesake for Labskaus, a norther German delicacy but also his hometown Rostock. Growing up in the district of Lichtenhagen music has always been an important part of his life. His first cassette: Depeche Modes' “Violator” and the first CD he bought: “Homework” by Daft Punk. Music has never let him down and nowadays he enjoys listening to Techno, House, Electro and Minimal but also Indie Rock and Disco Music. Being open-minded is one of his feature trademarks. Behind the mixing desk Labskraus often sees himself as a kind of soft rocker. Probably because he is a hopeless romantic in private. Who knows? In his sets you can always find a little drama intertwined with a solid groove and here and then some tear-jerking melodies. Essential to him is bringing his positive energy to the dance floor by triggering out of this world vibes at the right moment.
