THE DEEP CONTROL presents ... Ismētra (France) Ismētra was born in the Parisian collective and label O'Tawa and the little protégé of its founders, Wākhan and Kaöb. The story of the love triangle begins in Ukraine where the native German discovered through travels with her French companions the international Downtempo scene and launched in 2019 her first musical productions. Mixing organic and multiethnic elements, Ismētra invites to a sonorous dream and inner journey through deep bass and intense rhythmic, felted spirits. Ismētra has performed at many events such as the Kamiwaza Festival, at the Hédoné stage for the Wuza collective, the Château Pérche Festival, at the Cabaret Sauvage (Paris), Wanderers (Berlin), Amapola Festival and will soon play at Isis Garden Festival in Montpelier. “If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path.” This podcast is a special dedicace to @otawa-rec family and a special thank you to @wakhanbv who gives me daily inspiration in music and life !
